At the very first race of the Formula 1 World Championship Grand Prix of Monaco on 19th May 1957 Juan Manuel Fangio could enter in the winners list as the winner.
After an initially dramatic race with many position changes and some vehicle-turner in the Lancia / Ferrari driver and the British Vanwall racing cars were involved, Fangio was able to start with the no. 32 more from the field and settle an easy victory heading. The British racing driver Tony Brooks finished second on Vanwall.
