Description of the original vehicle: The Audi 920, constructed and built by Horch appeared on the marked in December 1938. It was the last pre-World War II Audi and showed evidence of the typical module construction customary of the Auto Union in the late thirtees.
For Audi there were only two chassis types by way of serial production: The limousine of the Horch workshop itself and the chassis built by the company Gläser in Dresden, which inspired the here presented replica.
A beautiful, timely dual-colour paintwork gives the model an irresistable charm.
The contrast to its predecessor - the Audi Front, the Audi 920 had a rear wheel drive. Fitted with an inline 8 cylinder motor and overlying camshaft the 75 HP lent the sportingly elegant cabriolet a top speed of 130 km/h.
At the outbreak of the War the promising production had to be stopped in 1940. A famous Brand had do bid farewell from the automobile scene for the next 25 years.

Technical data of the original vehicle:
  1. 6 cylinder inline motor
  2. Rear axel drive
  3. Motor capacity: 3.281 ccm
  4. Power: 75 hp at 3.000 rpm
  5. Max. speed: 130 km/h
  6. Fuel consumption 16 liters / 100 km
  7. Wheel guage: 3,100 mm
  8. Built: 1938-1940
  9. Total numbers built: 1,281 (of which 818 cabriolets)
