product description

A masterpiece of architecture model::CMC Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa white #22, Lucybelle II, 1958, Limited Edition 2000

The uniquely shaped and gracefully streamlined body is a rare example of perfect design. A flawless finish brings the racing stripes and starting number into a nice contrast.

Description of the original vehicle: May we introduce “Lucybelle” to you? That is the name by which the Testa Rossa with the chassis number 0732 first came to be known in its good old days. The owner Ed Hugus was an American, who decided to have the car painted in American racing white with double blue stripes. Admittedly, that appearance was unusual for a Ferrari. But take a look for yourself: Isn’t it strikingly beautiful? This is why CMC build a high-end miniature replica after it, limited to 2,000 pieces worldwide.
One of Lucybelle’s racing highlights was a 7th rank at the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1958, where it had the starting number 22. The drivers Ed Hugus and Ernie Erickson won their spot by competing triumphantly against a large number of tough competitors. Our model represents the current status of the car.

Technical data of the original vehicle:
  1. Twelve cylinder V-engine with two overhead cam shafts
  2. Six dual carburetors, Weber DCN
  3. Bore x stroke: 73 x 58.8 mm
  4. Maximum output: 221 kW (300 hp) at 7,200 rpm
  5. Top speed: approx. 270 km/h
  6. Wheel base: 2,350 mm
  7. Total length: approx. 4,000 mm

Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa \"Lucybelle II\" Le Mans
