Description of the original vehicle: The Type 57 SC Atlantic was Jean Bugatti, the only son of the great "Patron" Ettore Bugatti, masterpiece. For its time, the construction and as well the design was extraordinary in automotive engineering.
This eye-catcher was introduced to the public for the first time in 1936 at the London car show. The astonished attention of the masses was preprogrammed.
It became built only three times, but with its 3.3 litre 8-cylinder-in-line engine the Type 57 SC Atlantic became fastes street car of its era. Approx. 200 hp are powering the car to round about 200 km/h. There was absolutely nothing comarable out there that could hold up to elegance and perfection of this breathtaking two-seater.
The Atlantic combines a beautiful and as well aerodynamic design. It starts with its end-to-end rivet crown, which exerts the car's noble character even more, and it goes on with the headlamps that you can call the "eyes" of its appearance.
For the realization of this model, CMC archetype was the 3nd and last built original with the chassis number 57.591. Built in Mai 1938 and delivered to the English businessman R.B. Pope.
The hand-assembled CMC Bugatti Type 57 SC, miniature is composed of 1,926 single parts.
